I don't know about you, but a lot of the AMD backers thought a server from IBM or Compaq or both based on AMD SMP chips would be in the bag as soon as AMD came out with them. I've been saying no since last year on that one, still feel no tier one by EOY 2001. So, how does that bode for da Hammers, i.e., zero acceptance by the top tiers for Athlon MP?
