That decision if it holds will unravel our society!!! At what point does someone become a responsible adult, and take care of his OWN obligations?

Other possibilities could happen as well:
--Irresponsible parents could sue their adult children for maintenance, Rx drugs, housing, living expenses, etc....

--Could parents sue their adult children for having more children than the parents think they should? Just in case they "may" have to take care of those children???

--Elderly parents might sue the former wife, and their grandchildren for causing their 50-year old adult child, (who was a husband and is a father) to become unbalanced....

--Elderly parents might sue the Doctors, hospitals, and all medical for not diagnosing the ailment earlier...

--If this idiotic decision sticks, will the parents be able to claim maintenance for all the years he's been ill, and be able to sue him for not helping with his own incurred bills...

--What about income taxes....Who is responsible for income taxes, or bills the adult child has incurred over the years?????

--If this idiotic decision sticks....will the entire society go amuck thinking they have no responsibility at all for anything, and that someone one else will take care of whatever the end result of their decisions were......

--One more thing....If the adult child took illegal drugs and has emotional/mental/physical problems because of that use, could the parents sue the adult child AND THE GOVERNMENT AS WELL AS ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICIALS who allowed the drugs to be accessible in the US in the first place???

Geeeeze!!!

A quite amazing argument for sterilization- -of yourself! The courts and the legislators are making childbearing a very high-risk business these days. There are already numerous fairly innocent activities involving your children that can get you prison sentences.

When did mental illness ever get in the way of a successful legal career? Obviously the parents now need to sue the therapist who gave such poor advice.

Wait until he sues his parents for wrongful birth. They should'a known it would come to this. Only in LaLa Land.
