Apart of that, these are so "boring", you are better off buying F o GM if you want a cyclical play.

Actually, what I am always on the lookout for is something that will perform well (maybe 10%) over the next several years without a lot of risk (doesn't everyone). Like many people, I have a lot of cash that I want to put to work and it is tough sitting on my hands. I have no interest in buying a true cyclical like F or GM. Although GM hiring Bob Lutz was a great move, I have a hard time seeing value in an American auto company.

What are your thoughts on the author's idea of some international funds? I agree with his premise of the kicker from a declining dollar. The problem is what part of the world (or even what companies) is going to be relatively immune from a global slowdown?
