DJ, I agree that the easiest energy to produce is that saved by insulation or more efficiency. It's important for people to realize though that there is no shortage of energy. There is only a cost of energy. Some people think there is a limited supply of it. As you know, when we get into photovoltaics or chlorophyll production of energy, the limit is when the sun goes out or the deserts are covered in green and silicon. The only problem with chlorophyll and silicon is the price! Oil, gas, coal and nuclear remain the cheapest energy sources [for most applications]. Mqurice
