Thanks for your input.
I was referring to Ray Kurzweil's general application of Moore's Law (I may have been technically imprecise in the terminology) as shown to apply under the Law of accelerating returns, right after the Law of time and chaos, most recently culminating in the acceleration in integrated units (p. 27, The Age of Spiritual Machines). It just points out the exponential growth TRENDS appearing within the first 900 million years of the universe and how Moore's is just a specific and most recent recognized natural outcome. That can close that point, and we don't need to get more philosophical. As far as the application of the grid concept to the Internet, the article speaks on that subject on its own, so I won't elaborate on my humble opinions further. At least right now. Except to say the day will come sooner than we think when our understanding of the pace of technological change will be far short of the reality. It all involves broadband rate of data exchange, no? But, it says little directly about individual stock prices or near term trading considerations, of course.
Respectfully,
Mino
