The weird thing was that HELX certainly wasn't the only company to sell cryopumps. Some bigger companies were (are) in the fray but the HELX pump robustness blew them all out of the water (vapor <g>). I know some used equipment vendors with rooms full of competitors pumps that they can't give away.
