Yeah, I get his point about the assets there. It was an interesting read, I'll think it over a bit...

Main problem I have with it is that if we enter a major recession, the homebuilders and other construction industries already look toppy. As an asset play it makes sense, but if we get much deflation, assets won't be a great thing to own...debt (bonds) will, and cold cash (in FDIC insured accounts, not money markets) will.
