They need to be superseded by superior people with superior cultures. Not all cultures are equal. Not all people are equal. Hitler and his gang, by any sensible measure, were criminal thugs. Mao was too with his stone-age culture, which resulted in a lot of dead people, poverty and misery. The USSR culture was bad too. Saddam Hussein's idea of how to run a railway is grotesque [killing his daughters' husbands as one minor example]. You can find thousands of people in NZ who are criminal people with stone age cultures and many of them are kept in cages. In the USA and China they execute the worst of them. Let's have a bit less respect for criminal stone-age superstitious barbarian cultures. China during most of the second half the 20th century was barbarian and so is New Zealand's trend now [though I hesitate to compare the relatively pleasant NZ culture to the recent mess of China - however they are improving and we are heading downhill; I think we will cross over into barbarianism in a decade or so and they will take our place in what's called the civilized world]. Barbarian cultures deserve no respect and don't deserve to exist. The sooner superior people take over the better, [peaceably and by persuasion being the best way to do it; bribery being very effective]. Of course it's not so simple and the line dividing good from evil is the line which runs right through the middle of each person's heart. So, the 'civilized' countries, such as the USA, are perfectly capable of barbarity too. I think you misunderstood me to mean that "the West" is inherently and always superior to China and Chinese and so you quoted irrelevant stuff from centuries ago. You needed to read more accurately. I was writing about technology and the latest Chinese generation avoiding the muck of the earlier decades, going straight to the latest and greatest with a matching improvement in the political system from communism to capitalism.
