good news Tom on productivity and good luck on Csco's numbers, from briefing com.: ET Cisco Earnings Watch : Not surprising to see investors leaning slightly forward into Cisco Systems (CSCO) earnings due out this evening. Assumption is that numbers will be weak and that guidance cautious, setting stage for potential rally if 1) Cisco surprises to the upside, 2) meets reduced qtr and guidance expectations... Should Cisco disappoint, could very well see aggressive accounts use any associated gap down in the market as an opportunity to press short-sellers in early trading. In fact, many traders would favor the latter scenario.
