I really think well before most the US & the remainder of rest of the world's reserves are sold the stupid governments will learn to read the numbers & find that the more gold they sell the weaker their currencies become. Has it not happened in Europe, the UK, & all other places where gold reserves have been sold?

WHAT A PILE OF CRAP ABOUT MINING> Come spend a weekend with me and I'll show you miner protected fish, VOLUNTARY reclaimation, etc. Most of us miners are also hunters, hikers, and fisher-people. We capture, reuse and clean-up water, etc. And the fish love us. They gather at the front edge of my sluicebox, or dredge or highbanker, fighting over the agitated water. AAAAAAND some of us still hand pan as well!

If you want to pick on an industry, how about the poluting industry of James River Paper and their chemical dumping into the air and waterways. Or the smokestack industries still in operation on the East Coast.

You have so bought the party line about evils of OUR STATUTORY RIGHT to mine in this country, it is pathetic.

Please PULLLLEEEZE stick to paper gold accumulation and put your "ideals" where your mouth is...at least you can "recycle" paper.

Hrrrrmph!
