Ray,
My "knowledge", if you want to call it that, of Lay's opinion of Wood is restricted to the NYT article in today's issue. I quote,

"Some leading energy companies, including the Enron Corporation of Houston, also strongly supported Mr. Wood, arguing that he would move more assertively than Mr. Hebert to open local electricity markets to national competition.ra national trading company and its chairman, Kenneth L. Lay,was a leading financial backer of Mr. Bush."

That's all I have. As usual, we'll have to wait and see.
