Since this goes to the heart of the FCC (and other US Gov't) greed vs integrity, would appreciate a link.

Or at least a reference as to where this appeared.

Best.

RE: The Price of FCC Integrity
----------

"..And those who would participate in such an auction would doubtless bid less than they would if the commission had clear title.."

"..The auction participants were betting that the FCC would ultimately prevail in court, but they calibrated their bids downward to account for the legal risk.."

Further reason to believe that the value of this spectrum is much more than 15b.

GREAT article.

Might the bankruptcy court throw cold water on the FCC by approving rather than delaying NextWave's financing plan?

Might the appeals court throw cold water on the FCC by denying the stay?

Finally, we get an inside view of the truth of the matter. And the truth of the matter is as I have believed it all along. The FCC (and other supporting bureaucracies) are wrong--very wrong--in the NEXTWAVE case. I have been saying this all along as an outsider. Now we have a former commissioner verifying the truth of the matter.

Thank you Mr. Furchtgott-Roth. Perhaps your former colleagues will now choose to see the truth rather than continue to ignore it.

AH!! The power of money to corrupt the mind. Logic flies out the window when the dollar sign comes in.
