I think we bottom in morn (whether we gap to get there, I don't know), and then relief buying rally....thinking that 1935-1940 COMPX/10,150-10,200 brings a decent defense...Also, short-covering too....I'll probably give a long a go there (if everything lines up)..

If we gap to get there, I think rebound happens early morning...

Of course, we are going lower still (after that). Again, great, great trading by you today! Congrats!

24 ES Points Is Great - Congrats

I covered at ES 1191 as a result of a combination of fatigue, holding it through all the morning - afternoon bullshit as well as the fact that, as somebody pointed out, we have become teddy bears.

Opened a long position at ES 1185. I won't know if I should have waited to the opening. Its seems we are at or close to what must be considered decent support. Also it seemed interesting that they didn't even try to ramp at the close. Although $VXN closed red there have got to be folks looking down now.

I was surprised that we did not even slow down at SPX 1190. At this point however, break much below SPX 1180 gets us to 1140 real quick.

We have gotten used to Jello. Percent down today, with the exception of SOX were not that great, not so long ago it took a 5 or 7% down to get people talking about the c word.

This has been some brutal trading - its become a real bloodsport. The periodic arbitrary spikes up or down in the futures are killers.
