Large profits are just fine but why should they get large special tax breaks? (Assumeing they are, I didn't originate that idea on this thread. If there not then the question is obviously moot)

Edit - Question allready answered, but I don't really agree with the answer. The fact tgat tge tax code is manipulated to favor one group over another doesn't mean that we should encourage even more of this maniuplation and special tax breaks or penalties.

You're not trying to tell me that Exxon did not have insurance? Was the Valdez even their ship?
