The guest is not a guest (or should not be a guest) in his or her own country. For public functions we must be neutral on religion- for we NONE of us deserve to be treated as a guest (as the other) in our own country, simply because we do not kneel to the idol of the majority.

One has had experiences both as host and guest, and I know that as a guest, I would hate to have someone held hostage to my idiosyncrasies, and therefore have limited expectations of disrupting his routine.......
