If I buy a house with my own money and pay any taxes due, why can't I do with it what I please?

Is it okay or not okay for apartment owners to refuse to rent to:

a. married persons.
b. singles
c. families with children
d. people over 60.
e. people under 60.
f. people with tattoos

Are you just rattling my cage?

IMO, it's OK for individual apartment owners to refuse to rent to any of the above under most circumstances. It's not OK for apartment owners to conspire to prohibit any of those groups from getting suitable housing.
