I suggest you consider the History of the time. The Roman Empire was the world then. Peter went to Rome and Peter died and Rome. You want to go and hand wave about the Roman Catholic church is not seed of all Christian religions then you simple don't know history.

This is a silly observation. Who else founded the Catholic Church. What other religion is traceable back to Peter not through the Catholic Church.

There are no other Christian Churches that don't trace their way back to the Catholic Church by way of one or many we don't like the rule breaks.

Through history, there were those who for various reasons decided not to follow the Pope as the legitimate voice or continuation of Peter and thus Christ. This evolved the many as you call them Christian sects.

I know what you mean by self made doctrines. I don't have any problems with any of the rules of the Catholic Church and as a whole they seem entirely in the spirit of Christ. I cannot speak to what other Christian religions set as rules.
