I don't think they'll get it that high patron. If they do, it'll make me think this down is spent.

(As for the quadbottom, that was a joke. I don't recognize anything more than a double.)

They gotta do something here 'cause the S&P is at the bottom of the range it's been in since the beginning of June. This makes this spot a poor short-entry. The range may break, but that would be unspeakable for the equity bulls.

SPX range:
Bottom set: June 11 around 1168
Top set: July 19 around 1225
Bottom test: July 24
Top test: Aug 2 (during the great "wedge breakout froth-up")

So, we have a double-top and a double-bottom. Place yur bets.
