I don't remember who it was that was saying that we don't need more energy and that the crisis was a scam, but did anyone notice that CNBC had a brown/blackout yesterday and parts of the New England area were in a power crunch? Hm.... A little more population and/or a few more electric appliances plugged in at each home would have made that interesting.

While you sit all self-righteous and smug out there in Indiana, maybe you should check out who bought the in-state generation facilities that PG&E was required to sell as part of the original bail-out/deregulation bill: out-of-state suppliers. Then they orchestrated some bogus "down-time" or unplanned maintenance to dry up the supply. Voila!
