Brian,

I have not answered you because you have been ignored the past 8 months or so. I am not sure there is an article I can bring. I have voiced my opinions and I have backed them with quantitative data and predictions. At the top last year, I provided a quantitative model for selling AMAT. I showed that the price had discounted the expected maximum earnings for the cycle times a reasonable (historical) PE multiple for those earnings. Recently, I stated my estimate for maximum AMAT sales in 2005 and I provided a maximum price range based on PE and P/S.

You are wrong about my post. It doesn't say "Cary does not know." It says that Cary knows bullshit when he reads it.

I don't get a free pass from everyone. Not from you, not from Mike, and not from the guy who was initially offended by "hand waving" and "amazed."

If you want this thread to be group therapy for AMAT investors, just say so. I will happily go elsewhere. It is not that much fun to read pages of character assassination from hyper sensitives. In fact, you need only ignore me collectively, and I am effectively gone.

Recently, Jakob Snyder described his view that useful exchanges at SI require all parties bring something to the table that is valued by others. I wonder that you haven't ignored me.
