Panic, great link. It just goes to show that from this point forward, power consumption is going to be an increasing concern. As the article says, I don't see Itanium being a popular choice for high density servers until the .10u level. However, Intel's plans to introduce low power mobile CPUs into the high density market with the newer, more advanced packaging, might be just what the doctor ordered.
