Conservative radio is not hate radio. It may make a nice sounding cliche' for you to label things you disagree with as full of "hate", but that's about it.

Silly PC labeling is about all Democrats can do these days. They realize, when examining issue on there merit, their arguments fall way short regarding content.

Another reason talk radio is dominated by conservatives is because you have a great deal of time (compared to T.V.), to discuss and debate the issues. Sound bites, full of feel one way images, dominate the left wing ideological centers of media outlets.

With radio you have to listen, when you listen you are actively engaging in the process of learning and thinking. Television is mostly a mindless medium where you can zone- out and not really engage you mind in the process of thinking. Of course, there are exception. As in most things.

Selling is related to ratings, ratings are related to viewership, viewership is related to choice and value, choice and value is related to what excites the most people to tune in. Successful radio commentators such as Rush Limbaugh are more in tune with a larger share of the public then left wing ideologues like Larry King. Larry King was on the radio years before Rush Limbaugh, but, because he basically paraphrased everything on T.V. his show never took off with the same vigor as Rush's did.

Television, until very recently was basically immune from competition due to the high barriers to entry and SEC regulations. As these regulatory barriers are being removed, the medium is steadily moving toward the conservative values most of the nation shares.

Look for the major liberal news mediums ABC, CBS, NBC, and CNN, to continue to lose market share.
