Eichler, Thanks for the chart on Ebay. When I suggested it as a play I was thinking short term. Usually my approach is to get in to something, make a quick buck (times # of shares bought, usually 100 to 1000) and get out.

Like the stem cell short the other day, I think the ebay play will work no matter what the market does. But my plan is to get in and get out.

I'm going on pure hunch here. I think because ebay was pushed down by a rumor that was untrue, that as the truth becomes apparent ebay will bounce back up, if only a dollar or two.

If I can walk away from the table with $100 to $1000 profit (depening on how many shares I buy) I will be a happy man.
I'll probably be out of the market in a half hour or so.

If the anticipated rally materializes it will be added frosting on the cake. Ebay will move with the indexes.

But as with all trades, if I see Ebay falling in premarket or after opening bell I will rethink the trade and either cancel or time accordingly.
