You are right, they don't need you to tell them how to think. I for one, am perfectly capable of thinking without having someone tell me how. That has been my biggest complaint about the leftists. They wish to do my thinking for me and they require blind obedience. I come from a pioneering family that rode the prairie in a covered wagon, braved the wild west and all of it's perils to avoid just that. Since the conservative AM, talk show genie has been let out of the bottle, leftists have been in a panic. For so long Americans only had 3 news shows and limited radio. That has thankfully changed with the Internet and cable and digital communications. We can glean our information from the 100's of information sources that we now have access to. Gives us a different slant on things. I believe Bush's poll rating will go up after his Stem Cell decision because it was rational and safe and a cautious pathway to understanding this most controversial issue, and I believe most Americans agree with me. I am sure you will let me know if I am wrong won't you AS? You and extreme leftist say that Cheney is "supposed to be the one running things for Junior", but only you and extreme leftists have been the ones saying that. It doesn't wash with most Americans. His presidency will tell who he is, and that will take time. I will reserve judgement until I SEE with my eyes and HEAR with my ears. 50% of voters believed he was right for the job and the other 50% that didn't tell us we are idiots. Well, you know what I say to that? No I will not swear. Give your fellow Americans some credit. Insults will get you no where fast. What you need to do in order to engage in peaceful, intelligent discussion, to convince others of your convictions is be logical, show reason, and above all provide proof. Be open to new ideas and carefully formulate your opinions. Surely you are not too old to consider that others may have a point too? M
