Gottfried & Crow Thanks for the feed back. The floppy is working now. I tried several things but changed nothing. But in the process I rebooted 3 times and that was the charm. Could of been related to the following: I have another anxiety attack scheduled. Maybe you can help. The reason for the Drive Image & hard drive add on is that my operating system (ME) is acting squirrelly. I've got 6 pages of error messages that I won't go into. My hardware supplier is telling me that the solution is to re-format and re-install Win ME. I am trying create an image before re-formatting but am getting a couple of error messages. I sent Drive Image an email and am waiting a reply. My Question: assuming I get that image, what is the best way to proceed with the re-installation on Win ME? John
