The uranium problem has been well publicized in the area. The guy who has the house did test his well and it came back uranium free... however, a house down the street from him has a problem. Basically kills the value of the land in the area which was a large portion of the value of the house.

So. Indiana? Would I have to wear red during BBall season? ;)

We are moving in on another house. Hoping to close by end of the month. It's a late 70s brick home. Price per square foot was very competitive and it is in a great location for my wife and myself as far as drive to work. Excellent schools, large lot (for a neighborhood) and, as best I can tell, very solid construction. It's not the acerage we had really hoped for but it is very much a home which we will feel quite happy to own.

Thanks again for the pointers.
