The economy has held up well despite the slowdown due to consumer buying. How much of the consumer buying would you say has been fueled by home buying? (stats on home building/sales economagic.com )

If we're going to experience a slowdown in real estate than
we're likely to see a slowdown in retail sales and a tough test for our economy.

Gold popped again today on what? Only thing I noticed is that the Euro gapped up slightly this morning and dropped continuously without filling the gap. There's also a gap up on Thurs. that hasn't been filled. Euro may get over psychological hump at 90 and then challenge January high. I haven't a clue but watching. If the trend continues, short us stocks at will.

Wasn't ATMS a favorite Rat Dog of yours?? It's had a good move off of a buck and maybe I missed the posts but haven't seen any recently on this one..

Up 14% today although on lower volume than Friday.
