Well, if you've ever played English football you wouldn't call them sissies. Remember 20 years or so ago, when I think it was ABC TV set up a contest to see who was the most fit, best conditioned, most versitile professional athlete? They invited top players from football, basketball, baseball, track, etc. A wide range of contests -- weightlifting, running, swimming, cycling, as I recall some tennis, etc. Anyhow -- to everyone's astonishment (except those who had played the game) a soccer player came in first. Sissies they aren't.
