I wonder why price/performance was stated as opposed to just performance

Hi Jim McMannis; Re: nForce. It would be nice if comes out the shute with no bugs or delays, but that would be a first for the industry, LOL!!!

In other words, don't feel too bad when it comes out with bugs, and a bit late. I expect that it will be a monster performer, and any such product for Intel won't be ready any time soon. It's been how many months since Nvidia demoed these things? That's at least how much of a lead that AMD has on Intel as far as integrated dual channel low cost DDR platforms go.

Jim,

If they pull this chipset off it will say gads about how good nVidia is.

Nvidia said that that the biggest obstacle with nForce was all the compatibility testing that had to be done, but that the motherboard makers really helped out and all of that is behind them now. They said that the top five motherboard makers are ready to roll with it.

Nvidia said that the graphics performance was equivalent to GeForce2MX. They also said that nForce is in the XBox, so I don't understand where XBox is getting all its graphics power from. Maybe the Xbox version has GeForce3 graphics.

Pravin.
