Yes, I understand the country I am in better than you seem to understand the country we are in. I see what this country could be, where it has been and what it has become. I see millions of Americans little better than sheep, a general feeling of apathy, a federal government gone power mad, the productive being punished and the unproductive rewarded, people trying to do as little as possible for as much as possible, people who do not understand the freedoms we have lost and are losing and the gradual "europization" of a once-free America and the dangerous slide towards becoming a fascist leaning country.

I see over 100 trends, some recent, some building for decades that point to the final loss of most liberty in America. And I see that most people seem oblivious or uncaring about it.

I see that children are now being programmed with great lies in the public schools and by the media's slanted coverage -- or lack of coverage -- of many issues, and that the mass media as a whole has subverted its responsibilities under the rights it had outlined in the Constitution.

And I see a lot more... and it is NOT a "sub-culture" but an overview of the entire culture. I am not very immersed in it anymore or trapped into TV programing as are most Americans. When you pull back from the culture you can see it much more clearly, and much of this culture is on the razor edge between sanity and insanity.
