Again, I worded my thoughts inaccurately. You guys are sharp!

What I meant was that I wanted lower risk than I would have writing calls or puts or buying the actual stock on some of these volatile tech stocks.

Not lower risk than a CD.....

But I also wanted to get a higher return than a CD.

I know there exists the risk/reward tradeoff.

Really, I'm not as dumb as I sound. I'm not really looking for the holy grail.....

I really appreciate all your (everyone's) reponses to my questions. You can't imagine what its like on some other threads when it seems like everyone is ignoring your questions.

Long live CC4D! I haven't seen any "Dummies" on this thread.
