Warp, I haven't been watching tech stocks. A quick look at the candlesticks, regarding the three you mentioned, shows I haven't been missing much. They all seem to be drifting lower and I don't see any trend reversal signs. September is historically the worst performing month for the market, October second. The window of opportunity for a summer bull run is closing. Perhaps people are waiting to see what Greenspan does next week. Does anyone believe this September will be different? Anyone believe we'll see a rally in September? dabum dabum

Warp, The techs all look like sick puppies to me except for ORCL and AMAT. It will take a large dose of upgrades and positive news before the techs look good again. This could be tommorow or weeks from now. Unfortunately if you wait for that you will likely miss 10-20% of the move. It is time to load up now for the short term. FWIW I am loaded with 30 Techs, 30% retailers, 20% patch 10% gaming and the rest cash. Full positions are... KSS LOW TGT IGT TXN ORCL FLEX MVK DNR and a few smaller positions. I intend to be at least 70% cash and PMs by 10/1. I think the dollar is deep s__t and we'll see another monetary crisis type market panic for a few weeks in Oct and Nov. We may revisit the April lows then and it will be time to back up the truck, sell the house, sell the dog and buy everything you can carry off. hitsoft17
