I sure as hell have paid $600 in federal taxes already this year, so even if it is an advance, it is also a refund of these taxes I have paid. Go out on the street and ask 100 people that have gotten the check and ask them to characterize it's nature, then come back and tell us the results. You've already gotten the results here and I see none that agree.. Heck go to the Impeach Bush Thread and poll them.;) Just thought you would appreciate a break from all the posting here.
