A dirty little truth. The Feds collect your taxes before you owe them. Been going on for years and years. But what the heck, we're just citizens. Not like we have any power to do anything about it. Collecting taxes is the inalienable right of the ruling class. I sure as hell have paid $600 in federal taxes already this year,

Do you have to send your little checky back? No. That makes for a pretty strange rebate, doesn't it? You are pre-paying on what you may owe. "Go out on the street and ask 100 people that have gotten the check and ask them to characterize it's nature, then come back and tell us the results." Who ever said that what people think they are getting and, in reality, what people actually are getting are one in the same? Just look to Dubya as Exhibit "A".
