Natural Gas prices spiked 500% in California from mid-election time to Bush's first months in office. El Paso Gas, California's main supplier and a close Bush crony, showed 90% profit gain and no additional cost of supply. They blamed a "bottleneck" but they refuse to disclose papers proving this and have just been caught with evidence proving they conspired to trick regulators and monopolize and control the California NG market. Multiply this by 100 and you get the world view. This is your typical Bush crony. They stole billions this year. This one company. Worldwide the gougings for one year are probably in the half trillion range. for the US alone probably around 100 billion. And all at least encouraged by Bush-Cheney, if not engineered by them. All this far more than any tax breaks. The consumer is apparently the enemy of this administration, and sicne we are all consumers it's a wonder why any person in their right mind would vote for or support such an agenda. Unless you're in the energy sector yourself or are very rich, Bush has cleanly picked your pocket and will continue doing so, while eroding our social services, attacking the environment and continuing to give away our surplus and tax breaks to his closest special interest friends. No mystery anymore. It's plain to see.
Campaign finance reform, my friends. Repeat it like a mantra because it will put a stop to most of this. This kind of activity should be illegal but thre's no specific law against it. Not yet anyway. I call it good old-fashioned corruption. and feel like I'm living in the Philippines. Bush must think he's Marcos.

Contrary to anything those who think the 2 out of 14 is the most of as compared to 10 out of 14.

The price of natural Gas. tonto.eia.doe.gov

Are they lies or just plain stupidity. Of course there is also the insanity plea.
