William: We may be seeing the housing peak where everything looks rosy including the demand for copper... Prices are still off their 3 year high from last September... It is in an intermediate term decline... The downtrend appeared to be broken in February of this year as the FCX chart shows... bigcharts.marketwatch.com The lower price peaks of 22.00 and 17.00 suggest a longer term negative trend... A close above 15.00 breaks the intermediate term downsloping trendline... A break above 21.00 breaks a 2 year double top... Somehow, my gut instinct says that's not going to happen anytime soon... Jim
