Good point. Yes I have, now that you mention it. Certainly doesn't strike me that they are nearly as organized, large or wield anything like the influence of the right on the general political process. e.g. we certainly never heard how Al Gore had to placate the religious left while holding the demo center. The national council of churches is hardly involved in organized campaigns to elect members to school boards, city councils or other grass roots efforts.
