Thank you Wayne, for the information in that post. There is a lot to absorb. One problem I have is my backround in math and computers is limited, so I have much to learn and understand. I have Omega research software and I am still learning easy language with the thought of being able to write scans and filters, and then being able to back test and refine my strategies. I have read Steve Nison's book on Candlestick charting techniques. I use candlestick charts almost exclusively and find that over time I am getting better at "reading" them. For day trading I feel it gives me a good "visual" picture of the struggle between the bulls and the bears. Thank you again for that post, as I will need to read it more than once in order to absorb and understand it all. Scott
