Doubt it. Who are AMD's customers that know about pricing details? OEMs, screw driver shops and do it yourselfers. None of which will make that connection at all, in fact see AMD as a bargain. The rest pretty much buy a computer system, and price, peripherals and the manufacturer mean a whole lot more. Do you base your perception of the socks you buy on how much the cotton cost the manufacturer?
