I found them very enjoyable to read. They are well written.

I still love to read children's literature. I recently re-read Joan Aiken- because I thought I might read some of her books to my class. I decided the vocabulary was too difficult- but I finished the books anyway :-)

One of my favorites is The Wolves of Willoughby Chase

Poet, we've read all the Harry Potter books aloud to the kids, 3 times each at least. I guess that counts as some kind of endorsement. Easy reading for adults, Rowling has some stylistic glitches but she's pretty good overall.
