Pisco Bambino...

Hey buddy....

They are catching salmon like crazy around here, I guess it is one of the biggest runs in years. Seems like everyone I talk to has been out repeatedly.

The other night I bbq'd up some of the sweetest salmon filets I have had in years. One of my subcontractors brought it to me, he had caught it that morning before coming to the job site.....wow was it good.

Those Chinook you fish for....how long have they been landlocked? Was it a natural, or man made disruption that stranded them in fresh water? It seems pretty amazing that a fish that is so driven by instinct to travel to the sea and back, was able to adapt to a life restricted to just fresh water.
