I thought our pal Al was doing a fine job prior to 12/31/99. Not only was I naive, but also grossly uneducated regarding global macroeconomics and the Austrian liquidity cycle. Fortunately, a very smart person and great trader pointed me in the direction of an enlightening book. After reading this I realized how misinformed I was. Rather than arguing with you, why don't you educate yourself. I hardly think that one has no credibility just because they may have changed their minds appropriately. In fact, they have MORE credibility in my eyes because they were able to reverse their ideology and act accordingly.

Hi AC Flyer, not wishing to disturb the good active folks on this soon to be busy work thread, I move our discussion to here ...

... especially given that my post on Greenspan seemed to have triggered some controversy here as well.

We tend not to make fun of people's intellect there so much, so the attitude is somewhat gentle ... as in if I am right, I do not have to argue, and if I am wrong, I cannot afford to.
