fingolfen, It was all over the news a few weeks ago that the SVG Steppers that Intel had ordered were delayed at least twice and Intel was looking for alternatives.
One of the alternatives mentioned was that Intel was supposed to use mask shifts in order to get the early .13 parts out the door, the other was that they were qualifying equipment from other vendors. I can't believe you missed it. AMD orders from ASML which is now the parent company of SVG. I know nothing of photoresist and the other details. I only reported what was in the news.
