ot: We're still looking at the after-effects of the New Deal. It's why we're the biggest debtor nation in the world. If our politicians had any nuts(at least the male members), they'd shut off those unnecessary handouts, i.e., handouts that the freeloaders have come to be dependent on. They dwarf any spending for the military during the Reagan era. Social Security has over 2 Trillion in debt that us youngsters are going to get stuck with after 2015 or thereabouts.knc
