Barrett's "customer choice" comment can be seen in a whole new light if it means that the customer can choose among RDRAM, SDRAM and DDR based systems. That would be real customer choice...

Okay. I can fix that:

The court of efficient technology has sentenced RDRAM to hang by the neck until it is dead, dead, dead. The sentence takes a while to execute, but it is inevitable and cannot be appealed.
