DWB: Yes a very interesting tidbit. (Ericsson's public announcement that they will concentrate on "The American Standard") Yet, Ericy is still a strange beast. Many thought they had come to that 'enlightenment' after agreeing to buy a jump start in the "American Standard" - yet they sat pretty much idle for years.

I would have thought, if they had any market insight into China, that they would have pushed with Qualcomm, to open the CDMA doors. (Public evidence of that is scarce.) To date, they have squandered a wide open market given their GSM legacy and CDMA advantage. It remains to be seen how dedicated they will be in the future.

They have been a follower for years, it would be nice if they would catch the bow wave on CDMA.

It could also mean that this story has a goofy translation.

It would be great for Errorickson to help crack the Euronut.

I wonder whether they intend to gain their 20% more through TDMA LA overlays.

As long as it is not cannabilizing existing customers, it will be a positive.

Looks like the Swedes are not embarrassed to be seen with CDMA technology anymore
