Well, we always hoped Ericy would crack the European fortress. It's always been in Ericy's playbook (not used) that it could tell its loyal infra customers that it pioneered GSM and sells WCDMA but cdma overlay, cdma2000 is a less expensive and more efficient upgrade path. "We'll sell you whichever you want, but here's our hones recommendation and it's less money for you, too. If we were interested only in the money, we'd tout WCDMA, but we want you to continue to be a loyal customer who trusts our advice." To me, that's a sales pitch that's unbeatable. It's not cannabalizing but giving the current customer what it needs for a better price.
