Protests by disappointed bidders are common in the government contracting area and are usually unsuccessful but, in the GX/DOD case, it's gone beyond that. The DOD has decided that the bidding process was flawed and has agreed to rebid the contract. In other words, we're back to square one. A new bidding process will take place and everyone gets a new shot at the contract.

Now, if GX has some unique advantage that caused them to win in the first place, they should do alright the second time around too. On the other hand, if they won on the basis of price, we could see a different result.
