Or, maybe AMD is willing to live with slightly lower volumes and lower yields to prevent Intel from trumping them with Celeron frequencies. After all, the rumor is that Celeron will soon launch up to 1.1GHz.

Given Intel is planning to move Celeron to Tualatins, what AMD needs now is better bin splits and lower power - even if that means somewhat reduced yields. I am starting to wonder if Morgan is a winner even on one of the counts.
