That's what we've been trying to tell her for days. I admit that I haven't been paying really close attention to the subtleties of the discussion with E, particularly who said what about lying. It seems to me that people, in the broader sense, were trying to tell E that brees had appropriately characterized X, which is not the same thing as saying that he hadn't lied although it might subsume lying. I was hoping with my statement to disabuse E of the notion that brees was lying and get at least that little piece of this issue put to rest. Karen
